Privacy Policy

This policy covers https://www.floatokc.com. Bookings, payments and customer accounts are handled by our booking provider, which has its own privacy policy — this page describes what the website itself does.

What we collect

When you fill in a form. Your name, email address, and — where the form asks for them — your ZIP code, city, phone number and which services interest you. We also record which form you used, when you submitted it, the page you were on, the site that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through.

When you browse. Standard analytics about pages viewed and actions taken, so we can tell which parts of the site are useful. We do not use this to identify you personally.

What we do not collect. This website never asks for or stores card details. Payment happens entirely inside our booking provider's system.

Why we collect it

• To send you the emails you asked for — offers, news, or notice of a new location.
• To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us.
• To decide where it makes sense to open next, using the city and ZIP information people give us on the new-location form.

Email

Our email lists are managed in Mailchimp, operated by Intuit. When you tick the consent box on a form, your details are added to our Mailchimp audience along with the information above.

We never add anyone who has not consented. There is no pre-ticked box anywhere on this site, and we do not import addresses from anywhere else.

Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also email us and we will remove you.

SMS

Some forms let you give a mobile number. That is optional, and providing it does not sign you up for marketing text messages. We will not send marketing SMS without asking for that consent separately and explicitly.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and a Meta (Facebook) pixel so we can measure our advertising. Both set cookies in your browser. You can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker, and the site will keep working.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make the site work: our booking provider, Mailchimp for email, and our analytics and advertising providers. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep email subscribers until they unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's standard retention settings.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email using the link in it.
• Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
• Ask us to delete it, and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
