What happens on my first float?
You fill in an intake form, a float specialist walks you through the suite and answers your questions, and then you have the room to yourself. Shower, get in, and float for an hour. Afterwards you shower again, use the vanity area, and can sit in the relaxation room for as long as you like.
Before you arrive
Every guest completes an intake form. You can fill it in online ahead of time — a link comes with your confirmation email — or arrive early and do it here. Doing it in advance saves time and stress on the day.
The walkthrough
Once your suite is ready, a float specialist gives you a full orientation to the room and the process. This is the point to ask anything you are unsure about; the aim is that no first-time floater is left guessing.
Your hour
After the specialist leaves you have about five minutes to shower, then you get in. Music, lights and the door are all optional and all yours to control. After sixty minutes the filtration starts up gently to signal the end.
Afterwards
Shower to rinse the salt off. The vanity areas in both bathrooms have a blow dryer, deodorant and hair products. Then take the post-float hour at your own pace in the relaxation room — there is complimentary herbal tea, along with sketch books and colored pencils.
