Most people instinctively book restorative things for a Saturday. It feels right. It is also the reason so many of them never get booked.
A Saturday float competes with everything else you wanted to do with your Saturday. A Tuesday evening competes with almost nothing.
If the week itself is the thing wearing you down, taking an hour out of the middle of it is arguably the point. Waiting until Saturday means absorbing the whole thing first and then recovering from it.
Our members overwhelmingly book the same slot each month rather than deciding fresh each time. A standing appointment survives a busy diary; an intention does not.
We are open seven days, and evening slots are generally easier to get mid-week than at the weekend.
The reliable gap in most people's lives is not an object.
The first float is rarely the one people fall in love with. Knowing that in advance makes it a much better hour.
