Can floating help me wind down in the evening?
Short answer
Plenty of our guests book in the evening specifically to slow down before bed, and tell us they sleep well afterwards. We will not make a claim about what floating does to sleep — what we can say is that an hour with no screens, no noise and nothing to respond to is an unusually complete way to stop.
What we can honestly describe
Darkness, quiet, warmth and no demands on your attention for sixty minutes. Whether that helps you sleep is something you will find out faster than we could tell you.
If you are trying it for that reason
Book later in the day, avoid caffeine beforehand, and do not schedule anything demanding afterwards.
Speak to a professional about sleep itself
If sleep is a real difficulty for you, that is a conversation for a healthcare professional rather than a spa.
Good to know
- Caffeine and nicotine both work against what you came for — worth skipping in the hours before.
