How do I make the most of an hour to myself?
Short answer
Protect the edges of it. Most of what ruins an hour off is not the hour itself but the ten minutes either side — arriving rushed, or going straight into something demanding afterwards. Give it a buffer and it becomes twice the break.
Arrive with time to spare
Rushing in means the first twenty minutes are spent coming down from the journey. Arriving early is the cheapest upgrade available.
Leave the afterwards free
The most common regret we hear is booking something stressful immediately afterwards. Let the hour finish properly in the relaxation room.
Lower the bar
You do not have to achieve anything. The most useful instruction we give first-timers is not to try too hard to relax.
Good to know
- The relaxation room is part of the visit, not an afterthought — tea, somewhere quiet to sit, and no pressure to leave.
