(405) 340-0851 Book your experienceWe are so used to filling time that an unfillable hour comes as a genuine surprise.
Sixty minutes is not very long. It is a commute, a meeting, half a film. Most of us lose several an evening without noticing.
Put the same hour somewhere with no phone, no screen, no sound and nothing to look at, and it stops behaving like an hour. People come out genuinely surprised at how much of it there was.
Time feels short when it is subdivided. An hour broken into forty small tasks disappears. An hour with no subdivisions at all has nowhere to hide.
Expect to spend the opening stretch mentally working through a list. That is not a failure of the float; it is what a mind does when the usual stream of new input stops. It settles, usually without you noticing the moment it does.
You can end a session early at any point. Almost nobody does.
The reliable gap in most people's lives is not an object.
The first float is rarely the one people fall in love with. Knowing that in advance makes it a much better hour.
